Jazz Local 627 owe their name to the union of musicians in Kansas City, ‘Local 627’, where a 15 year old Charlie Parker was a member of. It is in honour of these pioneers who revolutionised music leaving us a universal legacy that we name our line of Jazz reeds.

The Local 627 Jazz Reeds are more flexible and vibrant than the Regular Cut. They have a larger area of scraping which gives a brilliant sound and quick response.
